Time Period of the Day: ONE YEAR IN

It's been one year.
It's been one long year, one that feels even longer.
It's been one unlawful and one unconstitutional year.
It's been one heartbreaking, unsettling, and lethal year.

It's only been one year?!

In his inaugural address, he mentioned expanding the land mass of America.  (We see that even more so in recent weeks.)  On day one, he signed executive orders to withdraw America from the Paris Climate Agreement and to end constitutional Birthright Citizenship.  He pardoned 1,500 January 6 insurrectionists, many of which are likely gestapo thugs (ICE "agents").  He has also pardoned darknet market Silk Road owner Ross Ulbricht (sentenced for running an online drug scheme) and Changpeng Zhao (whose cryptocurrency company Binance helped the Trump family crypto company World Liberty Financial to get started).  Trump later claimed he didn't know who Zhao was.

He has befriended despots and very questionable leaders like Saudi Arabian crown prince Mohammad bin Salman, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, among others.

He allowed his gestapo to arrest immigrants insides courthouses.  He has sent his gestapo to cause upheaval to Los Angeles, Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Memphis, New York City, Portland, Charlotte, Miami, Seattle, Boston, Denver, and Atlanta.  He is threatening to send 1,500 active, armed Army soldiers to assist his gestapo, in direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.  The escalating actions of his gestapo are intended to incite crowds so that Trump can invoke the Insurrection Act and declare Martial Law.

He has imposed, and retracted (and imposed again) tariffs on several countries.

He invoked the late eighteenth century Alien Enemies Act to deport so-called Venezuelan drug traffickers.  They thought they were going to Venezuela, but instead were sent to the infamous CECOT prison in El Salvador.

He claimed Venezuelan air space was "closed".  Then, he ordered air strikes on dozens of ships in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean, many alleged without proof to be Venezuelan drug cartel ships.  Additionally, six Venezuelan oil tankers have been seized.

He ordered airstrikes on nuclear sites in Iran, and an air strike in Venezuela to facilitate the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and wife.  They are facing drug charges of supplying fentanyl into this country, but the initial indictment did not mention fentanyl.  (Mexico is known for trafficking fentanyl; Venezuela, for cocaine.)  Oil companies, who Trump was repaying for their support -- and who he notified of the air strike, but not Congress -- are saying they're not interested in Venezuelan oil as it is unrefined and financially unviable.

He closed the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), causing global humanitarian and health crises, and instability.

He signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law, which reduces taxes on corporations and wealthy people, slashes funding for Medicaid and food stamps.

He ordered the demolition of the entire East Wing of the White House.

He claimed the Gulf of Mexico was the Gulf of America.  (Google Maps is still showing "Gulf of America".)

He has attempted to whitewash several references regarding slavery in this country on websites, collections, and on-site locations.

He claimed during the 2025 campaign he would not be a dictator "except for day one".  Apparently, he concept of how long a day is far different than the rest of us.

He has appointed or nominated a series of incompetent, unqualified, and unmitigated yes men and women who share his vision of what America should be to do his bidding in their various positions.

He has transformed America from a democratic republic to a fascist state.

And it's only been one year.
